Tucson Hebrew Academy Passport to Peace

We are proud that the Tucson Hebrew Academy choose the Southern Arizona Children's Advocacy Center as a charity in the Passport to Peace Mitzvah Fair. During the fair, students give tokens to the charity they like the most and these tokens are converted to real money and given to the corresponding charity. This mitzvah ties in closely with "tikkun olam" which is a mandate to improve the world in which we live and is achieved through good deeds. Thank you for all the students who contributed to the needs of abused children in southern Arizona.

We were honored to have been selected by the Tucson Ladies Council as beneficiary of their past "Bags and Belinis" event.

"Bags and Bellinis" featured appetizers from Renee’s Organic Oven and a silent auction of designer handbags. This exquisite event was held at La Encantada on Sunday, May 5, 2013 2pm–5pm. Bellinis with fresh raspberries were served along with appetizers. Kathy Rau, executive director of SACAC, presented Stella Schaffer with a photo of Russell , our prized therapy dog, along with many thanks for their support and donations.
